The Boys are Back in Town

You heard it here first: the boys are back in town for the 46th annual BC Home + Garden Show! Join us as we welcome an all-star line up of returning HGTV celebrities to the Main Stage presented by the Vancouver Sun from February 22nd-26th at BC Place Stadium. Bryan Baeumler of HGTV’s Bryan Inc., Carson Arthur of HGTV’s Home to Win, and Mike Holmes Jr. of HGTV’s Holmes + Holmes will be kicking off the home and garden festivities on the Main Stage in what is sure to be an event to remember.
For a glimpse of what you can expect from the boys at this year’s home and garden show, get to know them a little bit better below!
Bryan doesn’t believe he’s put in an honest day’s work unless he gets his hands dirty. A natural- born teacher, the Gemini-award winning host has been educating and entertaining viewers across Canada and the US since 2007 on the hit shows Disaster DIY, Canada’s Handyman Challenge, Leave it to Bryan, and House of Bryan. Bryan’s quick wit and easygoing personality have made him a huge hit with viewers on all of his home renovation shows. Currently filming HGTV’s Bryan Inc. with his wife Sarah, learn more about the couple on their journey as they flip two investment properties while balancing their busy home lives together.
You can catch Brian on the Main Stage on Friday, February 24 at 6 pm. and Saturday, February 25 at 1 pm.
Carson Arthur is an international landscape designer with a focus on environmentally friendly design. Throughout his 15-year television career, Carson teaches homeowners how to raise the value of their homes through outdoor renovations and can currently be seen on HGTV’s Home to Win. As the North America outdoor design editor for Outdoor Lifestyle magazine; the outdoor expert for Terra Greenhouses, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, and the author of the sold-out book Garden Designs for Outdoor Living, Carson is truly multi-talented, with a new book scheduled to hit shelves in spring 2018.
Catch Carson on the Main Stage sharing his best tips on making the most of small outdoor spaces on Friday, February 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, February 25 at 5 p.m. You can also see Carson on the Garden Stage presented by the Vancouver Sun and the Vancouver Sun Gardeners’ School on Friday, February 24 at 4 p.m.
Mike Holmes Jr. (MJ) is a professional contractor, television host, public speaker, educator, guest expert and online personality. You might recognize him from Holmes on Homes®, where he first started working with his father, Mike Holmes, when he was just 14 years old. For 11+ years viewers watched Mike Jr. grow up as he helped his father on some of his most ambitious builds and projects, including Holmes in New Orleans, Mike’s Ultimate Garage, and HOME FREE on FOX. Today, MJ focuses on a holistic approach to proper home building that supports healthy living and stars in the newest edition of the Holmes series franchise, HGTV’s Holmes + Holmes, where he and his dad transform his modest bachelor bungalow into a two-storey masterpiece.
