We need you, our exhibitors, to be aware of fradulent companies who may contact you under the guise of working with the BC Home + Garden Show or offering free services. Please take note of the more common schemes we are aware of, below:
Exhibitors Directory for Fairs and Exhibitions
Marketplace Events LLC learned that “Construct Data Publishers” of Bratislava, Slovakia and similar companies were targeting various show producers including Marketplace Events exhibitors. They offered advertising space in their “Exhibitors Directory for Fairs and Exhibitions” via a form that includes the specific Marketplace Events show name. Exhibitors who signed and returned the form were bound to a non-terminable agreement at significant cost for a period of at least three years and automatically renewing thereafter at the same cost, unless canceled by registered letter within a specified period.
NATIONAL TRAVEL ASSOCIATES LLC
This company will email and phone exhibitors to try and pressure them to book hotel rooms through them for certain events. The Vancouver Home Shows do not collect any payment information regarding hotel bookings and simply offer a flat rate for exhibitors to utilize during their stay at the selected Show Hotel listed on the exhibitor kit under the label of Accommodations and Parking.

Pirate Housing Companies
Pirate housing companies are companies that claim to be affiliated with the BC Home + Garden Show, offering to help book discounted hotel rooms. In most cases, when you book your room with these unscrupulous companies, your reservations CAN'T be changed, cancelled or modified in any way without significant penalties.
Offers of Home + Garden show Email/Database List
The BC Home + Garden Show does not sell its data lists nor offer them for public use. Be aware if you receive an email from ChiefExecutiveData.com looking like this:
